In the recent decade, there has been a tendency in the manufacturing practice of major foreign manufacturers to install a lifting weight lifting mechanism (hereinafter abbreviation) on a self-propelled boom crane. The reason why such a mechanism is required is that the self-propelled boom-type cranes used in modern construction methods do not seem to be capable of lifting enough in many cases, and the use of heavy lifting cranes is uneconomical due to high costs and labor-intensive losses.
