今年是新疆维吾尔自治区成立50周年。50年来,在党中央、国务院的正确领导和大力支持下,自治区党委、人民政府带领全疆各族人民,不断克服前进道路上的艰难险阻,取得了一个又一个进步。特别是改革开放20多年和西部大开发战略实施5年以来,新疆在经济社会方面,更是取得了巨大成就。
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Over the past 50 years, with the correct leadership and energetic support of the party Central Committee and the State Council, the party committees and the people’s governments in the autonomous region have led the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang to continuously overcome the difficulties and obstacles in the road to progress and made progress one after another. In particular, since the reform and opening up for more than 20 years and the implementation of the strategy for the great development of the western region for five years, Xinjiang has made tremendous achievements in economic and social aspects.
