英语专业学生通常被认为具有较高的英语能力,但在课堂上却大多不愿意主动与老师或者同学交流。本文的研究建立在中国学生英语专业课堂口语交际意愿模型上,运用半构造式访谈法进行深度调查。结果发现英语专业学生虽渴望通过课堂学习加强英语口语能力,但他们的交流意愿受到五个因素的影响:个人作用、教师影响、同伴影响与动机取向和情感观念的交织作用。研究对模型进行了补充,即心情、抑制行为是自我导向,而任务取向不仅受个人作用也受他人作用。
English majors are generally considered to have a high level of English proficiency, but most of the students in the class are not willing to take the initiative to communicate with their teachers or classmates. The research of this paper is based on the model of Chinese students’ oral English communication in English major, and uses semi-structured interview to conduct in-depth investigation. The results showed that although English majors desire to improve their oral English ability through classroom learning, their willingness to communicate is affected by five factors: personal influence, teacher influence, peer influence and motivation orientation, and emotional intertwining effect. The research supplements the model, that is, the mood, the inhibition behavior is self-directed, and the task orientation is not only affected by the individual but also by others.
