图画因其逼真的形象、艳丽的色彩、丰富的内容等对小学生有着巨大的吸引力。数学因其干巴的算式、过多的概念、抽象的内容等容易让小学生产生厌倦的心理。那么,有没有一种能将小学生喜欢的图画与小学生厌倦的数学结合起来的“神奇”的书呢?!让小学生因为喜欢图画书,爱屋及乌也喜欢上数学。令人欣喜的是,世间确实有这种“神奇”的书——小学数学教科书。小学数学教科书中有着各种精美的插图,这些插图正就是小学生喜欢的图画。在理论联系实际的基础上,简单地谈一谈课本插图在小学数学教学中的重要作用。
