From November 6 to November 9, 1988, the first international symposium on tungsten, titanium, rare earth and antimony metallurgy and materials was held in Changsha, China. More than 350 experts and scholars from 17 countries and regions gathered in Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, the “hometown of non-ferrous metals” in China. With regard to the metallurgy and materials extraction of tungsten, titanium, rare earth and antimony in various countries in the world in recent years, Research progress and the latest achievements were exchanged and discussed. China’s tungsten, titanium, rare earth and antimony resources are extremely rich.
