胡锦涛总书记在党的十七大报告中指出:“加强和改进思想政治工作,注重人文关怀和心理疏导,用正确方式处理人际关系。”当前,思想政治教育要以科学发展观为指导思想,核心是以人为本,尤其要凸显自身的人文关怀功能。所谓人文关怀,就是对人的生存状况的关怀、对人的尊严与符合人性的生活条件的肯定,对人类的解放与自由的追求。人文关怀关注人的现实处境,关注人的发展和生命价值,关注人的精神生活和需求,是一种文化和一种文明的诉求,也是一种思想态度和价值取向。
