Shenmai injection was prepared from ginseng and Ophiopogon japonicus. There was no report about its electrophysiological effects on cardiomyocytes. We observed the effect of Shenmai solution on the action potentials of cardiomyocytes by suspension microelectrodes on the locator heart. Fifteen rabbits were selected for the experiment, male or female, urethane intravenous anesthesia, open chest to expose the heart and maintain its natural breathing.
