车载式放射性检测装置是通过探测中子和γ射线的方法,检测是否有人员或车辆非法携带放射性物质,也是进行核与放射性物质搜寻的手段之一。该装置将1台具有放射性检测功能的设备安装在汽车上,使得该设备与车辆成为一可移动的具有检测功能的装置,具有针对不同场合机动布防和监督测量的特点。检测设备本身也可不与车辆结合而单独使用。该装置通过3He正比计数管和塑料闪烁体分别对中子和γ射线的探测,实现对人员和车辆进行放射性检测。在检测时,可实现数据采集、数据分析、数据处理、数据显示、数据存储的功能,当达到设定的报警阈值时,可显示报警,并伴有声光报警提示。
