全长50公里、工程造价逾700亿港元的港珠澳大桥,是连接香港大屿山、广东省珠海市和澳门的一座巨大工程,这项工程的施工难度,号称世界笫一。建成后的港珠澳大桥将成为世界上最长的跨海大桥。据悉,大桥的使用寿命长达120年,可以抗击8级地震。2009年12月15日,大桥内地工程正式施工。整个工程计划于2016年建成通车。2009年10月,香港环保署署长批准了港珠澳大桥香港口岸及香港线段的两份环评报告。报告批准后,香港段工程也进入了紧张的施工阶段。
