头脑奥林匹克竞赛活动自1987年在上海开展以来,至今已有20年。20年来,此活动无论在参加人数、活动内容还是在影响力方面,都有了巨大的发展和变化。最初,一年只举办一次竞赛,现在每年除了头脑奥林匹克竞赛(团体赛)外,还举办“头脑奥林匹克大挑战”(普及型)、“头脑奥林匹克擂台赛”(个人赛)、“头脑奥林匹克夏令营”。特别是一年一次的竞赛,每届比赛参赛队都在250支左右,参加人数更是达到24万。目前已经普及到了全国12个省市。至今中国已经派出了70支队
Mind Olympiad has been active for 20 years since it was launched in Shanghai in 1987. In the past 20 years, this event has witnessed tremendous development and changes in terms of the number of participants, the content of activities, and the influence.
