《中国花卉盆景》2002年8期第48~49页的相邻版面,发表了曾宪烨和金励两篇同说雀梅盆景造型的文章。笔者是个马大炮,喜实话实说,特抒拙见如下——曾宪烨能文善画,早已闻名遐迩,尤其是画盆景,更可谓无出其右。但从曾文和其12幅附图看,则请恕笔者斗胆直言:曾先生的一些观点和作法,似乎有悖于植物本身的形态特征和树木盆景的常规育坯方法。曾先生介绍的5幅桩坯实物图片给我的直感是,无论是原形图1,或经先生亲手锯截过的图2、3、4、5或定型的图6都象是未经推敲的产物。因为任何一种树木盆景桩坯骨架定型锯截方法,都必须考虑以后怎样收顶,盘根,如何减少截断面,不留人工迹象,如何抹芽蓄枝?一件树木盆栽艺术造型,成败在于桩坯骨架定型。宛若建筑物,若是框架形象不伦不类,即使装修工艺完美无缺,也照样使人望而生厌。从照图看,在雀梅萌芽抽枝后,未能及时抹芽、控梢、整枝,以至使图8、图9成了“飞蜈蚣”,图10~12成了“四不象”。若任其自然,再不吊枝、曲枝和截梢促成分枝增多,恐难成“气候”。尤其是根盘,尽管雀梅生命力强,易于成活,可它的形成层需要一定的湿度才能生根萌芽。若使切口曝露空气中,任凭风吹雨淋,则必然腐
