为探索科技与经济结合的新途径,加强科技成果向生产力转化的中间环节,缩短成果转化周期,加快仪表功能材料的科研与工程化技术开发,振兴机械、汽车工业,促进中央部属科研机构为地方经济服务,机械工业部与重庆市人民政府经过多次商议,就共建“国家仪表功能材料工程技术研究中心”
In order to explore a new way for integrating science and technology and economy, to strengthen the intermediate links between the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productive forces, shorten the period of conversion of achievements, speed up the development of scientific research and engineering technologies for instrument functional materials, rejuvenate the machinery and automobile industries and promote the central scientific research institutes as local Economic Services, Ministry of Machinery Industry and Chongqing Municipal People’s Government after many discussions on the construction of “National Instrument Functional Materials Engineering Research Center”
