一、地震活动性特征公元1000年以来华北平原及其邻近地区共发生M_s≥5级地震200余次,其中6级以上地震36次,7级以上地震10次。6级以上地震几乎无例外分布在区内北东—北北东向和北西向主要活动断裂带上,7级以上地震发生在北东—北北东向和北西向断裂带的交汇部位,反映出强震的发生与断裂带构造活动有直接成因关系。研究表明有史料记载以来,华北平原及其邻近地区M≥6地震的时空分布是不均匀的。在时间上,地震活动强度和频度有明显的涨落特点,反映地震活动准周

Characteristics of Seismogenic Activity There have been more than 200 M_s≥5 earthquakes occurred in the North China Plain and its adjacent areas since the year 1000 AD, of which 36 earthquakes of magnitude 6 and above and earthquakes of magnitude 7 and above ten times.
