20世纪50年代末,以乔姆斯基为代表的转换生成语法诞生了,其标志是《句法结构》的发表。乔氏在此书中对描写语法进行了激烈的批判,从而建立自己的语法体系——生成语法。生成语法和描写语法存在很多尖锐对立的地方。其中明显的分歧有:描写和解释,发现程序和评价程序。描写语法与生成语法的分歧可于此瞧出端倪。此文旨在通过分析发现程序和评价程序的异同,揭示生成语法与描写语法的不同点。
The late 1950s, Chomsky as the representative of the conversion grammar was born, the symbol of “syntactic structure” published. In this book, Qiao’s fierce criticism of the description of grammar, in order to establish their own grammar system - to generate grammar. Generative syntax and descriptive grammar there are many sharp opposition. The obvious differences are: description and interpretation, discovery and evaluation procedures. Disagreement between descriptive grammar and grammar can be seen here. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the differences between the generated grammar and the descriptive grammar by analyzing the similarities and differences between the discovery program and the evaluation program.
