这次修订的初中语文第四册比之试用本变化的幅度较大:抽换了课文;单元作了调整;修改了“思考和练习”。目的在于进一步提高选文的质量,加强编排和训练的科学性、系统性。试用本全册二十八课,包括白话文九个单元,二十二课;文言文六课。修订本将白话文合并为七个单元,还是二十二课,文言文增加到八课。从整册看,适当增加了说明文、文言文的分量。单元编排方面,突出了重点,加强了说明文教学。“思考和练习”方面,加了说、写训练,增设了单元练习;语法练习单独编排;阅读课文的练习安排得轻一些。使之与讲读课文区别开来。抽换掉的课文是:《一次难忘的航行》《庄严的毛主席纪念堂》《苏州园林》《有的人》《按语两则》《新闻两篇·“飞蝗蔽日”的时代一去不返》《大渡河畔英雄多》《我们共产党人不怕困难》《徐特立同志谈艰苦奋斗》《三峡》《西门豹治邺》等。抽掉或者调换的课文,分别有以下一些原因。《一次难忘的航行》写法上缺乏特色,调整单元时不便于组元,且小学语文第六册已选编了《一个降落伞包》、《庄严的毛主席纪念堂》原为通讯报道,抒情成分很多,几经修改为说明文,仍 The revised fourth edition of the junior middle school language has a larger range of changes than the trial version: the text was changed; the unit was adjusted; and the “thinking and practice” was revised.
