“Engage”一词的灵感来自于高尔夫运动中的三个最重要的相互作用,即球杆与地面之间,杆面与球之间,以及运动员和他的装备之间的相互配合。为提升球杆、高尔夫球和运动员三者之间的配合度,耐克工程师们在Engage挖起杆上运用了与耐克Vapor家族“超能肌背”相似的设计。“超能肌背”通过移动重心来制造更强的稳定性,即使在劣势的击球环境下也能让球杆与草地保持平稳的接触。耐克Engage挖起杆将提供三种不同的杆底规格,分别是Dual Sole,Square Sole和Toe Sweep。
The term “Engage” is inspired by the three most important interactions in golf, between the club and the ground, between the face and the ball, and between the player and his equipment. Nike engineers use designs similar to the Nike Vapor family of “super muscle backs” on the Engage wedges to improve the fit between clubs, golf balls and athletes. “Super muscle back” creates more stability by moving the center of gravity, allowing the clubs and grass to maintain smooth contact even in unfavorable batting environments. The Nike Engage wedges will come in three different sizes for the sole, Dual Sole, Square Sole and Toe Sweep.
