现代战争的后勤保障,必须降低部队对燃油的需求量。因为部队需求的燃油越少,后勤补给车队出动的次数就越少,他们面临简易爆炸装置(IED)的风险也就越小。此外,降低部队的燃油消耗也可以减少暴露行踪的油烟以及对自然环境的污染。
Logistical support for modern warfare must reduce the unit’s demand for fuel. Because less fuel is required by the troops, the less logistics teams are dispatched, the less risk they face in the IED. In addition, reducing the unit’s fuel consumption can also reduce the exposure of fumes and pollution of the natural environment.
