听说读写译是英语专业学生的五项基本能力。其中,翻译能力,尤其是口译实践,具有一定的学术高度和实践难度,对英语专业的学生一直是一个很大的挑战。开展课外口译实践活动,为学生在理论学习基础上提供更多的真实口译实践环境,对提高学生的综合素质具有深远影响。针对我院培养国际型、复合型、应用型的英语专业人才的目标,以及与地方社会经济联系的实际,紧紧抓住大连市的发展契机,让学生在大连市开展的各类经济活动(夏季达沃斯论坛、国际软交会、世界渔业博览会)中提高口译水平,加强口译实践,将是理论与实践结合的最佳选择。
Listening and Speaking, reading and writing are five basic abilities of English majors. Among them, the translation ability, especially the practice of interpretation, has a certain degree of academic sophistication and practical difficulty, and has been a great challenge to English majors. Carry out extracurricular interpreting practice activities for students in the theoretical study based on the provision of more real interpretation of the practice environment, to improve the overall quality of students has a profound impact. In view of the goal of cultivating international, compound and applied English professionals in our college and the reality of local social and economic ties, we should seize the opportunity of development in Dalian and allow students to conduct various economic activities in Dalian Summer Davos Forum, the International Soft Trade Fair, the World Fisheries Exposition) to improve the level of interpretation, to strengthen the practice of interpretation, the combination of theory and practice will be the best choice.
