The authors report about 7 years of follow-up after ESWL treatment. Renal dysfunction and residual stones and recurrent stones were analyzed. The Dornier model HM_1 iodine-hippuric acid clearance was measured between 1980 and 1981; the effect of Dornier HM1-type iodine-hippuric acid clearance was analyzed between May 1982 and May 1984 at different stages after treatment with 754 (810 sides of the kidney, 923) Dornier HM2- Residual stones and recurrent stones.
