在水电站厂房结构中,尾水管上弯段是体形最复杂、施工最困难的部位。以往均采用满堂脚手木支撑,进行现场浇筑混凝土。这样,一台大型机组的尾水管就需用木材约125米~3,消耗量很大。为了节约木材,在三门峡水电站建设中,曾将木支撑及模板改用砌砖,这样虽可以节约木材,但用砖量相当大,每台机组需用砖约12万块,其损耗率达70%,而且占用堆放场地较大,拆、砌砖所用工期也较长。
