近几年来,高等学校的图书情报事业随着我国社会主义现代化建设的进程,随着整个高等教育事业的发展,取得了前所未有的进展。整个高校图书馆界,都在大力强化情报服务工作,向开放的、多功能的文献情报中心发展。但是,由于高校图书情报工作基础比较薄弱,发展也是很不平衡的。从其开展的深度与服务效益来看,尚有不少问题应当加以探讨,进而寻求出妥善的解决办法,以利开创图书情报工作的新局面。一、情报意识有待于强化情报意识是情报客观现实在人脑中的能动反映,是人脑对情报在科技、经济、社会发展中的性质、地位、功能的认识反映,它决定人们扑捉和利用情报能力的自觉程度,是情报工作深入开展的内在动力。辩证唯物主义科学地解决了意识的本质问题,肯定了意识是人类在社会中物质高度发展
