在农业学大寨运动中,我们与贫下中农一起,只用两、三年的时间就育成了大单2号等玉米杂交种。下面我们只就大单2号作简要介绍。大单2号的组合为自330×比70。1974—1975年南繁时选配组合,当年在昔阳鉴定,名列首位,亩产1,187.2斤。去年在全县十几个点进行品种比较试验,一般亩产仍在1,100斤以上,比丹玉6号增产13.8—19.4%。多点试验表明,大单2号是个抗病、高产、质优的新品种,深受群众欢迎。
