The story happens on a planet with two worlds. The upper one is an inverted (倒立的；颠倒的) world with its own gravity, directly above but beyond reach. Adam is an ordinary guy in one of the worlds. His romantic spirit holds on to the memory of a girl he met once upon a time from another world, a girl named Eden. Their childhood flirtation becomes an impossible love. But when he catches a glimpse of grown-up Eden on television, nothing will get in the way of getting the long-lost love and her back, not even the laws of science.
故事发生在同一个星球连接的两个世界。上层世界与下层世界引力相反，万事万物彼此颠倒，虽然只有一线之隔，但却是个下层世界完全触摸不到的世界。亚当是下层世界的平凡人。小时候他偶然见到了来自上层世界的女孩伊达。两人相距世界之隔，童年的两小无猜，渐渐变成不可能有结果的爱恋。但是当亚当某天意外在电视上再次见到长大成人的伊达，即使是物理法则也无法阻挡两人的长相厮守。
