自新版英语《新课程标准》实施以来，我认真研读，努力寻求新的教学方式。力求突破现有教学思想，以学生终身发展为前提，以素质教育为准绳。在教学中，我加强对学生的听、说、读、写能力的训练，在学生获得基础知识前提下，也培养学生综合运用语言知识的能力，使他们养成良好的学习习惯。在教学方法选择上我坚持情景教学模式，坚持先让学生能听懂、学会说、自觉读，再到独立写的一个教学过程。实践证明这更能激起发学生的学习兴趣。
在英语教学实践中,笔者通过要求学生科学记忆单词、注重预习、注重听说、养成良好的读的习惯、使用适当的学习方法,帮助学生全面提高英语成绩。
