随着科学技术的迅猛发展,作为介绍新的科研成果,传播新的科技信息的科学技术期刊,其地位和作用日益突出和重要。同样,科学技术的发展也为承担科技期刊编辑出版工作的工作人员提出了挑战。从字面上理解,编辑指“把材料加以适当的组织排列做成书报等”。然而处于信息时代、知识经济的今天,科技期刊编辑人员素质在较大程度上决定了科技期刊的质量。
With the rapid development of science and technology, the position and role of science and technology periodicals, which introduce new scientific research results and disseminate new scientific and technological information, have become increasingly prominent and important. Similarly, the development of science and technology also posed a challenge to the staff who undertook the editing and publishing of sci-tech periodicals. Literally, editors refer to “arranging materials in a proper way to organize books, newspapers, etc.”. However, in the information age and knowledge-based economy, the quality of sci-tech periodical editors determines the quality of sci-tech periodicals to a large extent.
