我国各行各业与世界的接轨需要大量的外语交际人才,尤其需要懂得外国文化的外语交际人才,这就使得我国高校外语教学需要培养具有跨文化能力的人才。因此,在外语教学中不仅要传授学生语言知识,更重要的是培养学生语言交际能力,尤其跨文化交际能力成为外语教学培养的重要标准之一。由张红玲教授撰写的《跨文化外语教学》一书,可谓是我国国内第一部系统研究跨文化外语教学的专著。作者从外语教学的时代背景出发,阐明了在英语发展成为国际通用语形式之下,外语教学的最终目的是培养具有跨文化交际能力的外语人才
Our country trades and occupations with the world need a large number of foreign language communication talents, in particular need to understand the foreign culture of foreign language communication personnel, which makes our country foreign language teaching need to cultivate talents with cross-cultural competence. Therefore, in the foreign language teaching, not only to teach students knowledge of language, more importantly, to develop students’ language communication ability, especially intercultural communication ability as one of the important criteria for foreign language teaching and training. Written by Professor Zhang Hongling “cross-cultural foreign language teaching,” a book, can be described as China’s first systematic study of cross-cultural foreign language teaching monographs. Based on the background of foreign language teaching, the author clarifies that the ultimate goal of foreign language teaching is to cultivate foreign language talents with intercultural communicative competence under the development of English as an international common language
