尚尔广.河南省罗山县人,1951年7月自信阳中学参军,先后毕业于解放军测绘学院和武汉测绘学院,曾在总参大地测量队,国家测绘局第二、第八大地测量队工作多年。1978年,调至国家测绘局测绘标准化研究所,任高级工程师、全国测绘科技信息网西北分网办公室主任、《西北测绘信息》,(陕西省一级期刊)主编、中国测绘学会科普委员会文学创作组成员等。
