我父亲是一个普普通通的铁路工人。从我记事时起,就知道家里很贫穷,日子过得很清苦。每到月底,妈妈总是东家借碗米,西家借点钱,用来维持全家人的开销,等月初爸爸开了工资,再一一还上。
My father is an ordinary railway worker. From the time I remember, I knew that the family was very poor and had a hard life. At the end of each month, my mom always borrows bowls from the east and borrows money from the west to keep her family’s expenses.
