郭沫若写诗为十万官兵壮行我国现代杰出的作家.历史学家.诗人、考古学家和古文字学家、著名的社会活动家郭沫若同志,当年和十万转业官兵有一段缘分.1958年3月,党中央召开成都会议,20日,通过了一份历史性决议——《关于发展军垦农场的意见》.决议指出:“军垦既可以解决军队复员就业问题,又可促进农业的发展,在有些地区还可以增强国防和巩固社会治安.因此,在有大量可垦荒地、当地缺乏劳动力.又有复员部队可调的条件下,应实行军垦.”于是,便出现了举国瞩目的十万官兵开发北大荒的壮举.
