Compared with the traditional single language teaching, comprehensive reading emphasizes the comprehensive ability of students ’language in a large number of reading practice, so as to promote students’ lifelong learning and development. From the point of view of language development, the language and writings carry the development and changes of the 5,000 historical and cultural elements of the Chinese nation. It is difficult to grasp the inherent linkages of language in a single and fragmentary reading. Even if history is left aside, the lack of a comprehensive system of reading can hardly grasp the essence of its ideas as far as a writer is concerned. From the perspective of Chinese knowledge, Chinese knowledge is very complicated and fuzzy. Many of the knowledge cross each other. It is difficult to accurately grasp the subtle differences and connections between certain knowledge. There is not a large amount of
