There have been several reports on the use of specific serum protein electrophoresis patterns in the study of hybridization of fish as the genetic markers for the identification of parents and crossbreeds [Li Wancheng, Liu Yun, 1986, Li Chuanwu, 1991]. The author used this method to study the characteristics of the serum protein electrophoresis profile of Xingjin crucian carp (F1) and its parents, and discussed the sub-high-tendency of various components of the fish hybrid F1 generation in electrophoresis
