In the central nervous system, the analgesic effect of endogenous opioids has drawn people’s attention. If opioids have a modulatory effect on pain, naloxone, an opioid receptor blocker, should change the pain or pain response in normal animals. Many people try to reveal whether the transmission or response of noxious stimuli through the treatment of naloxone has the role of tension regulation. However, there are still many contradictions existing in some research materials. It has been shown that exogenous opioids inhibit neuronal firing in some brain regions. Enkephalins have obvious inhibitory effects on the discharge of pain-sensitive neurons in the thalamus. These results suggest that endogenous opioids are involved in pain information processing
