看过电视剧《51号兵站》的人,都不会忘记“小老大”这个人物,在敌人的眼皮底下,他运筹帷幄,将敌人玩弄于股掌之中,将大批军用物资运往苏北新四军根据地。其实,“小老大”只不过是个艺术化身,是无数个战斗在敌占区大上海的地下工作者的缩影。刘燕如也可说是“小老大”的艺术原型之一。刘燕如,化名刘穆梅。1938年5月加入中国共产党,1942年受华中局城工部领导,为协助淮南抗日根据地的淮南行政公署在上海采购运输军用物资和护送人员而从事地下交通工作,在水、陆、邮三条线路上战斗了四个春秋。
