On October 13, 2014, Wang Anshun, mayor of Beijing, presided over a standing conference of the Beijing Municipal Government to study and approve the introduction of an insurance mechanism in the field of safety in Beijing and to carry out the pilot project on establishing a safety liability insurance system.
