十年改革开放,使我国西北地区的1300多万少数民族人民的生活发生了旷古未有的变化,西北民族地区的经济有了长足的发展、平等、互助、团结和共同繁荣的社会主义新型民族关系,得到了进一步加强。
Ten years of reform and opening up have brought unprecedented changes to the lives of over 13 million ethnic minority people in the northwestern region of our country. The economy of the northwest ethnic region has enjoyed tremendous growth. The new socialist nationalities have enjoyed equality, mutual assistance, solidarity and common prosperity. Relations have been further strengthened.
