This article describes the development of a compact and powerful NI PXI data acquisition system that uses extensive functions in NI LabVIEW software to control your system, including timing and synchronization, broadband network analysis, and real-time RF logging. The research team used NI PXI integration to develop specific devices to meet the needs of a compact field measurement. Using this system, the propagation characteristics of transmission channels in a particular environment are evaluated and their impact on the design and implementation of new communication standards is analyzed.
