这学期我读了《Harry Potter-and the Philosopher’s Stone》英文读本及中文译本(《哈利·波特与魔法石》)。在没有接触到这本小说之前,我对科幻类的小说并不感兴趣,但是当我看了电影并尝试着开始看英文版小说的时候,我发现哈利·波特的故事真的很吸引人。并且在中英文对照的阅读中我得到了一些启发。本文共分三部分,第一部分简要介绍了《Harry Potter-and the Philosopher’s Stone》译者的背景;第二部分简要列举了译作中被赋予新说法的词语及句子;第三部分叙述了我在阅读中文及英文读本过程中得到的启发。
This semester I read both English and Chinese versions of “Harry Potter-and the Philosopher’s Stone” (“Harry Potter and the Magical Stone”). Before I came across this novel, I was not interested in science fiction novels, but when I watched the movie and tried to start reading the English novels, I found Harry Potter’s story really appealing . And I got some inspiration in reading Chinese and English. The first part briefly introduces the background of the translator of “Harry Potter-and the Philosopher’s Stone”; the second part briefly lists the words and sentences in the translation which have been given a new explanation; the third part describes what I am reading Chinese and English reading process inspired by.
