在社会主义市场经济条件下,特别是在企业不断深化改革的过程中,进一步加强职业道德教育,有着十分重要的意义.基于这种认识,武钢第一炼钢厂党委结合实际,在全厂开展多种形式的职业道德教育,取得了很好的效果:一、职业道德教育使爱岗敬业的精神得到了发扬.武钢第一炼钢厂是1958年采用苏联平炉生产工艺投产的老厂,技术装备落后,生产条件十分艰苦,大多数岗位都是热、脏、苦、累、险.在这样的环境下,从事高强度的体力劳动,不是一件轻松的事,尽管在分配上有一定的倾斜,但象平炉、铸锭、整模、修炉等一些岗位,仍缺少足够的吸引力.通过开展职业道德教育,职工中要求调走的少了,不安心工作的少了,涌现一批立志在钢厂、奉献在岗位的先进集体和先进个人,受到公司的嘉奖和表彰,如:“乐于吃苦奉献的整模人”——公司劳模胡武权、“修炉铁人”——湖北省劳动模范杨继维、“勇于竞争创一流的炉长”——湖北省劳动模范刘建平、“敢攀质量高峰的炼钢工”——武钢公司劳动模范邬洪胜,等等.使“干一行、爱一行,钻一行”的爱岗敬业精神得到了极大的发扬.
