研究的目的要证实塑料注射器(尼龙、聚乙烯、多基乙烯)是否与一定的酸性抑菌剂结合。仅尼龙注射器有反应,其结合现象在相当短时间的接触就会发生,且与温度有关。近年来塑料器皿在医药界的应用,日益广泛,代替了玻璃、橡皮和金属等制品。目前有关方面的人士也很关心塑料器皿是否对人体有害的问题。曾有报导单纯的聚乙烯、多基乙烯等同药物附加剂有结合作用。对人体急性和慢性中毒的报导较少,另外塑料对药物的影响,或者药物对塑料的影响的叙述也很少。例如:放在聚乙烯注射器内的一些气体和挥发性药物,可透过器壁而引起药物芬香
