中药蜜丸是我们对门诊病人开展的小制剂加工之一。蜜丸中胶类的药物量大,制作的难度也大。如像一般蜜丸那样制作,将药物干燥后碾成细粉,加适量炼蜜拌合,闷润过夜,则出现干皮发硬,回揉打滑,制作极为困难。如稍多加一点炼蜜却又会使丸块软塌,粘结而不易成丸。这是因为胶类药物所具有的特殊性质所致,胶类药物遇热变软,冷却坚硬。含胶量大的中药蜜丸丸块,具有较强的粘滞性而又不能多吸收一点炼蜜。
