Post-mortem inspection of pigs is the continuation of pre-slaughter quarantine inspection. It refers to the quarantine of carcasses after slaughtering pigs to test whether the carcasses have common diseases such as swine fever and swine erysipelas. Although the pre-slaughter inspection has removed the diseased animals that have obvious symptoms and endangered public health, the carcasses with obvious external appearance symptoms and chronic diseases in some organs also need to be further detected after slaughter to ensure the hygiene and safety of the meat products.
