用和曾详细研究过的方法研究了山前平原和鄂毕高原上若干个有控制意义的上新世-更新世地层剖面(图),以探讨热发光性质和年龄测定。根据年龄测定资料,对研究地区的更新世可划分出六个成壤期。
Several well-controlled Pliocene-Pleistocene stratigraphic profiles (Fig.) On the Piedmont Plain and the Oblong Plateau were studied using well-studied methods to investigate the thermoluminescence properties and age determinations. According to the age-determination data, the Pleistocene in the study area can be divided into six soil-forming period.
