水文情报预报是防汛抗旱、洪水预报调度的基础工作。1982年10月,我局全体水情人员参加由淮委水情处主持的沂沭泗流域临沂、大官庄、运河镇、骆马湖等重要控制站的洪水校核预报,历时6个月,于1983年4月完成《沂沭泗流域洪水预报图表》。同年汛前又完成水情报汛站网布设,并委托山东、江苏、河南、安徽四省共128个测站,汛期向管理局拍报水情。1984年开始,水情工作的重点放在计算机的应用方面。1985年前,洪水预报及调洪演算 Hydrological forecast is the basic work of flood control and drought relief and flood forecasting and scheduling.
