曾有机会去朱仙镇。一次应邀参加“朱仙镇木版年画节”,一次陪同台湾朋友进行民艺考察,悠悠古镇风情和朴厚典丽的木版年画使我的心灵受到强烈的震动。 朱仙镇北距开封四十五里,传为战国朱亥故里。《尚友录》:“朱亥,大梁人,勇侠,隐于屠肆。侯赢荐之,魏公子无忌使奉璧谢秦。秦王怒,使置之虎圈,亥发上冲冠,瞑目视虎,虎不敢动,遂以礼遣。复使亥袖四十斤铁椎,击杀晋鄙,夺其兵符,退秦存赵。”从此,朱亥声名显赫,被尊奉为仙人,其居地故名“仙人庄”,其镇为“朱仙镇”。朱亥仙人的传说在当地民间流传甚为广泛,人们虔诚崇祀。《麈史》:“朱亥墓在都城(开封)南,过所谓四里桥之道左。旁有祠,垣宇甚全,木亦茂,呼为‘屠儿墓园’。清明则众屠具酒肴祀之,出于人情也。”朱仙镇曾存有朱亥庙,后世屠夫以为朱亥是杀猪出身,敬其为祖师,每至春节贴朱亥画像门神以供奉崇祀。清穆兰《汴中咏史杂诗》云:“一奋高椎逐却秦,市井不见鼓刀人,后来沧海君名重,疑是朱仙隐去身。”朱仙镇亦因朱仙而得名,《通鉴辑览》:“朱仙镇在开封府祥符县西南,以朱亥旧里,故名。”今时,镇中有“仙人街”、“仙人桥”等,依稀保留有一种神秘色彩。
