Objective Long-term follow-up foundry workers decreased lung ventilation. Methods A total of 70 in-service foundry workers were surveyed, their pulmonary function was measured 10 years ago, and the dust concentration in the working environment was also monitored. RESULTS: The indexes of castors’ lung function and the percentage of their predicted value to the predicted value decreased obviously (except FEV1%) 10 years later, and the annual decline values were also significantly higher than those of normalized persons. Correlation analysis showed that lung function was positively correlated with height and weight Related, but with age, smoking is negatively correlated. Conclusion The lung ventilation function of long-term workers in the foundry industry is significantly reduced
