In the Japanese dialogue, the final word appears very frequently. The so-called final word, is at the end of the sentence to express the speaker’s emotional words. The different meanings of final verbs are also different. Even the same final verb will change due to the different meanings of the dialogues. Moreover, the method of using final verbs varies with the age and gender of the interlocutor and the geographical factors. Today’s Japanese learners are increasing, but not many people are able to speak authentic Japanese. In authentic Japanese, the final word is particularly important. Therefore, want to say an authentic Japanese must first accurately understand the meaning and role of the final word. This essay chooses “ね” and “よ” as examples from a number of finalized aids to explore the subtle differences between their sense of language and meaning.
