The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the relationship between numbness and preservation of the posterior auricular nerve (GAN) posterior parietal shunt. This is a prospective, controlled, double-blind, multicenter study of 130 patients. Ninety-three patients had posterior large auricular nerve (auricular nerve), 33 posterior auricular branches (no auricular nerve group), and the other four patients had no auricular auricular nerve. Patients underwent haptic tests and subjective assessments at 6, 12 and 24 months postoperatively. Results: The GAN group had better tactile test results.
