我很幸运的诞生在一个艺术世家,从小受父亲——中国版画元老王琦的影响,从此便与木刻结下了不解之缘。在我幼小的心灵中有两件东西给我印象最深,并一直伴随我时至今日;一是木刻,二是音乐。 在我版画艺术成长的道路上,曾对我影响最大的中外版画艺术家,有中国的古元、李桦、新波、彦涵、王琦、力群、黄永玉,还有德国的凯绥·柯勒惠支、挪威的爱德华·孟克、比利时的弗朗斯·麦绥莱勒、英国的托马斯·比维克、美国的罗克威尔·肯特、俄国的法弗尔斯基、日本的栋方志功。
I was very fortunate to be born in an art family. Since I was a young man, influenced by his father, the Chinese veteran Wang Qi, I was inextricably bound with woodcuts. There are two things in my young mind that give me the deepest impression and have been with me till now; one is woodcut and the other is music. On the road to the growth of print art, the Chinese and foreign print artists who have the greatest influence on me include the Chinese ancient yuan, Li Hua, Xin Bo, Yan Han, Wang Qi, Li Qun, Huang Yong Yu, and Germany’s Kai Sui Ke Le Meridien, Edward Munch in Norway, Frances Marcerelle in Belgium, Thomas Beaver in the United Kingdom, Rockwell Kent in the United States, Fawsky in Russia, .
