大学英语教学改革日渐深入,课程定位逐渐发生变革,专业英语需求与日俱增。大学英语教师面临教学转型,教师绩效评估体系也待改善。针对广东某高校的大学英语选修课程群,对任课教师的绩效分析发现:学校的教学改革初显成效,教师的通识教学观念与时俱进;教师专业背景较为单一,正在制约专门用途英语的教学转型;在课程设置、教师绩效评估与激励制度以及教师个人职业发展等方面仍然存在不少现实问题。
The college English teaching reform deepens day by day, the curriculum orientation changes gradually, the professional English demand increases day by day. College English teachers are faced with the transformation of teaching, teachers performance evaluation system also needs to be improved. According to the analysis of the performance of classroom teachers in Guangdong University, it is found that the teaching reform of the school has begun to take effect and teachers’ concepts of general education have been advancing with the times. The teacher’s professional background is rather single, which is restricting the use of English for specific purposes Teaching reform; there are still many practical problems in curriculum setting, teacher performance evaluation and incentive system, as well as personal career development of teachers.
