我省計劃明春擴種馬鈴薯至一百萬畝,要求生產十億斤以上的馬鈴薯,折合糧食四億斤左右。這是糧食增產的一項重要的措施,對接濟夏荒、補助糧食和飼料的不足,也有極其重大的作用。各地必須高度重视這一工作,教育並發動群众認識擴種馬鈴薯的重要意義,力爭完成和超額完成擴種任務,並為今後進一步發展馬鈴薯生產創造條件。為此,特作如下指示: 一、做好馬鈴薯種薯準備工作是完成擴種任務的基本保證。馬鈴薯的用种量一般每畝約需種一担左右,一百萬畝就需一百萬担種薯。解决的辦法是: 第一、據不完全統計,我省一九五五年夏收面積近三十萬畝,群众都留了種。同時由於今夏豐收,農民留種量較往年為多,除在秋種中用去一部分
